Guest guest
Karta: Thanks for your response. I've felt a bit uneasy about my part in this discussion for being so insistent. Bhagavan was very gracious about everyone's approach to him and I don't feel I'm properly serving him by being so stubborn. I come to Bhagavan through the Buddhist traditions of vipassana and Zen and so I probably get a bit too intense. In Zen practice, accuracy is a requirement but I don't need to bring that here. I've had the opportunity to observe list members who are bhaktis and yogis and I see the validity and value of each approach as it suits each of Bhagavan's devotees and it's not my place to get carried away as did. I'm going to close my "mouth" and "listen" more to everyone here. :-) My apologies, Mark dear Mark, you know, that I came to Ramana through the Gaia thought around 9/11 and I cherish unity in thought which would help to avoid such violence as that. I'm not familiar of states of samdhi and as you say: the final stage of samadhi "...no one to experence it", my aim is to have the right action here. Here on earth everything involves action, vichara is action so is meditation, awareness is action, realization is action, and the sound Naam is sustaining it all... ~all love Karta~
