Guest guest
om namo bhagavate sri ramanaya Dear Sri Gabriele, You wrote: > do you have the whole Ramana Stuti Panchacam and can > you post it? I have the book which has Ramana Stuti Panchakam in Tamil. It contains five verses. These verses are 1. The Dawn Chant (Ten stanzas) 2. Kummi (Roundelay)(Ten stanzas) 3. Golden Ray Ten (Ten stanzas) 4. Gold Like Ten (Ten stanzas) 5. Ramana Sadguru (Twenty five stanzas) The lines referred to, > > ucchida cchuvaiyAna unpadam > > ucchi vaittida vEndinEn > > > > Your Supreme Holy Feet > > I pray, place on my head! appear in the last stanza of the fifth verse. I also have the book with English translation, but will need time to key it in. The last few days have been hectic at work and time for logging into the group has been only during late nights. Please bear with me for a while. After I am back from my tour on work for a week, I will begin keying in a few verses each day. Let me key a couple of stanzas from the fifth verse today. The verse begins with the refrain Ramana Sadguru, Ramana Sadguru Ramana Sadguru, Rayane (My Lord!) Ramana Sadguru, Ramana Sadguru Ramana Sadguru, Rayane (My Lord!) It is repeated after every two stanzas. Now the first two stanzas Gracious Lord who was born in the sacred place, famous Tiruchuzhi the glorious gods of heaven are delighted to praise. The sea of nectar, the dweller of Arunachala was born of the love of Azhagu and Sundara* Out of compassion the formless One, took human form. * The names of parents of Bhagavan. Azhagu means beauty in Tamil and Sundara menas the same in sanskrit. The five Ramana stuti panchakam verses are sung every saturday evening as a part of the daily Tamil paaraayanam in Sri Ramanasramam in the Samadhi hall (which you can see the Ashram website.) Women and men devotees sit in the hall as two distinct groups on the north and south sides and sing alternate stanzas. The refrain is repeated by both men and women. Books with the verses for the paaraayanam are distributed to all who assemble in the hall. om gurave namah! Ever Yours in Sri Bhagavan, suri ______________________ Everything you always wanted to know about cars and bikes, now at: http://in.autos.
