Guest guest
Some authorities declare that the cessation of worries or anxieties constitues liberation. Bhagavan once commented on this while he was explaining the true nature of liberation: "What is meant by liberation? Do the heavenly worlds and heavenly bliss exist somewhere else in the sky? Are they to be experienced in some other world and some other body after leaving this world and the body? The Heart alone is the supreme world. Tranquility, in the form of supreme silence, is alone the supreme bliss or the happiness of liberation. The cessation of all worries is the attainment of the supreme truth. By the state of inner consciousness the great life of supreme bliss can be attained at all times in this very world and in this very body." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Godman: The Power of the Presence, I, p. 133 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
