Guest guest
I have been involved in a project, and was unable to post for several weeks. Now I am again able to participate. To remind all, these postings are from the Osborn version of "Who am I?" This all-text version was the only version that Ramana reviewed and edited. The comments made are those of a seeker, who has been instructed by two Self-realized sages (who came to their realization through Self- inquiry), Nome and Russ at the Society of Abidance in Truth (SAT), in Santa Cruz, CA. More can be found about SAT at www.SATRamanna.org. The comments here are those of a seeker. If there is any wisdom in them, it is the wisdom of my teachers. If there are any errors, they are the errors of this seeker. The comments of others are very much invited. When this is complete, I will post the entire document. Paragraph 15 This state of mere inherence in pure Being is known as the Vision of Wisdom. Such inherence means and implies the entire subsidence of the mind in the Self. Nothing other than this, and no psychic powers of the mind such as thought-reading, telepathy, and clairvoyance, can be Wisdom. COMMENTS Here Ramana instructs the seeker to know the deepest Wisdom. Do not stop until the experience, until the Knowledge is pure Being, is only Consciousness. The generous Sage tells the seeker that they should not be satisfied, should not stop (at the ego-gratifying state) at `mere' powers. Powers are not Wisdom. The direct Knowledge of Conscious, the direct stand, as none other than Being, is the appropriate goal for the seeker of Self-Realization. Keep going `deeper' until the seeker and That which is sought are known as one and the same. Here is nonduality. Here is Siva. Here is where Ramana stood and shone on all with the Light of Being. Hi Richard: Thank you for the above. :-) Thought appears in Silence and vanishes in Silence. That which appears in something and disappears in something can be nothing other than this something. When knowledge sinks to the heart there is wisdom. When words disappear there is Love. In Silence, Michael ---------- --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
