Guest guest
That was a line from an old, old song. It is appropo here as a question because spiritual teachers teach that the body is also the "shadow" or the physical man. So my question is along those lines. In Sant Mat we are taught that the shadow is important and the physical plane because it is easier for God realization and Self- Enquiry on the physical. Why? Because it is a question of Time. They state that time dilation exists on higher planes, and according to the law of physics this is true. The faster the speed the time factor comes in and it "Appears" that time slows down greatly or is all but stopped. Hence, it would take one millions of years of meditation on these higher planes than if one were doing that same meditation or Enquiry here on earth. Now, if Time and Space are illusory, should this then be a concern? And now physicists are giving proofs that Time even in the physical sense does not exist. Rather they are stating something that I understood through meditation that the Past, Present and Future are all rolled up and found in the exact same moment, or gap of Time. So, my question is what would the teachings be on this question of Time and meditation on earth versus other "planes" in Time. If they even exist of course.
