Guest guest
Paragraph 35 All scriptures without any exception proclaim that for attaining Salvation the mind should be subdued; and once one knows that control of the mind is their final aim it is futile to make an interminable study of them. What is required for such control is actual enquiry into oneself by self-interrogation: "Who am I?" How can this enquiry in quest of the Self be made merely by means of a study of the scriptures? COMMENTS Realization does not come from any book or from any amount of understanding of the mind and how the mind works; rather it comes from the seeker's inquiry into the Self. Realization comes from the seekers Self-Knowledge. This Self- Knowledge comes from the seekers own efforts, from the seekers spiritual experiences that lead to Self-Knowledge. This experience is not in any book, nor in any thought or set of thoughts. This is experience is real, though. It is real like your own Knowledge that you exist. Is the knowledge that you exist dependent on your thoughts? Or is it something deeper? Look for yourself. - You comments are invited.
