Guest guest
Paragraph 41 If the ego rises, all else will also rise; if it subsides all else will also subside. The deeper the humility with which we conduct ourselves, the better it is for us. If only the mind is kept under control, what matters it where one may happen to be? COMMENTS It all starts with the ego. With the ego rises the body, mind and world. One practice that some find useful is watching the ego rise when they awaken in the morning. This fact gives the seeker special knowledge: since all the world starts with the ego, when the ego subsides, so does the world. This way, the seeker does not need to stop all thoughts that they might ever have, just one thought, the "I"-thought. It is from the "I"- thought that all the complex multiplicity springs. So it is simple, Self-Realization is so very close to the seeker, just one thought away. ------------------- This is the last paragraph of Who am I? Soon I will post the entire commentary.
