[RamanaMaharshi] How stupid I am ?

How stupid I am in my cult Harsha ?

And how coward ?

Dear Vicki,

Bless you, perhaps this is helpful to you somehow to express

your upset feelings here, where you feel safer to do so. I'm sorry

you felt criticized (by a few), tho I do not wish to engage in

any instant replay of all that was said and by whom, please do bear

in mind that Harsha was not there, nor said anything to you. He would not call

you a coward or say you are stupid, or in a cult. Please do not give

the impression he has done these things.

Again, I am sorry for your hurt feelings. I cannot speak for Harsha himself,

as to his

views of the scope or intent of an open satsangh, as in open to a variety of

views,

but the list description does not describe it as presenting solely the

teachings of Ramana

there. So while it perfectly appropriate that you moderate your list as you

see best, others

may not have the same focus.

Nor am I here to defend the list, or what happened there yesterday, or

behavior of other

members, as I am not sure this discussion of Harsha's list is topical, or

really belongs

here in the first place. I do know that Harsha has been in the midst of moving

his family

and travelling back and forth and also preparing for the start of a new

teaching term.

No one else is moderating the list at this time, either. Perhaps he may find

time to

address your concerns and the situation, still I would wonder if here is the

best place for that.

I wish you peace, Vicki, but not to repress your feelings for a false peace.

Just try to be

as accurate to the facts as you can. I wish I could be more helpful, but I

simply cannot speak

for a whole list or Harsha.

With love,

Gloria

Dear v,

As a seeker, your (our) task to to give our heart and mind to the

teachings and the practice. Anything other does not bring peace.

You may have noticed that I now mainly read this list and do not

respond. I suspect that this is best for me. To engage in dialogs

(unless we are solid in the Truth within) can be risky for the

seeker. It is hard to avoid assertion (of ego and one's sense of ego-

identity).

We love the Truth that Ramana taught. He also taught us that we are

to find it within. That is perhaps where our attention is best

used.

Of course, even an upsetting interaction with others can aide the

seeker. Who is it that is reacting to the upset? Who do I hold

myself to be that I react this way?

You have the love of Ramana within you. That is all that is needed.

WE are Not two,

Richard
