Guest guest
Dear Friends, Today is August 29th. Even though time and space do not have meaning in this context, it was on this day young Ramana had started His journey to Arunachala - to complete the outward unification, the inward unification was already over (the letter informing the event had no signature - there was no one to sign). The journey from August 29th to September 1st is very symbolic - in a way comparable to the inward quest Pranams ... Ramanendu
Guest guest
om namo bhagavate sri ramanaya ********* 'Well, this body is now dead. It will be carried to the funeral pyre and there reduced to ashes. But do I die with the death of this body? Is the body I? It is silent and inert; but I feel the full force of my personality and even the voice of the 'I' within me, apart from it. So I am the Spirit transcending the body. The body dies but the Spirit that transcends it cannot be touched by death. That means that I am the deathless Spirit. ....All of a sudden, the boy called Venkataraman had flowered into a sage and saint. It was 29 August 1896.
