Who Am I? , my God ?

Dear Vicki,

 

I feel the same way as you. I'd like the list to

retain its atmosphere of a community of people

who are engaged in self-inquiry, who are trying

earnestly to go beyond experiences to discover

that which lies beyond experience.

 

Yoga gives rise to wonderful, amazing experiences.

We see God everywhere; our chests explode with love;

we discover that what we thought was "me" is

really only an imaginary prison built from

daydreams.

 

I don't mind if people want to talk about their

experiences but the list, basically, should be for

people who are trying to go past experiences to

find the experiencer.

Yes, this says it very well.

Yes. It's good that you take the time to put

this into words. In a way this is the most basic

thing but it's not necessarily obvious to everybody.
