Guest guest
"Brunton wrote nine other books during his lifetime. One can see thee strong inner presence of Ramana in each of them. For even though Brunton coined his own terminology, the essential features of what he wrote were undoubtedly the product of his grounding in the straight path of Ramana." Brunton did become stabilized in the experience he had by Ramana's grace. Thereafter the gently irresistible beauty of his inner life was felt by all those who came in touch with him till he passed away in July 1981, in Switzerland. Brunton revisited Sri Ramanasramam, as he was sure he would, a few year later. With the help of Munagala Venkataramiah, the recordist of "Talks", he maintained a diary recording the clarification sought by the seeker and visitors from Ramana during his visits. Writing about his father, Brunton's son Kenneth Hurst says, "He is an example of hope for all of us that striving and earnestness are never in vain. For he had all the human failing, had fallen by the wayside several times, but picked himself up each time and at last achieved the goal." Timeless in Time by Natarajan..
