Guest guest
I would have handled it differently, but I am not the moderator here. Ramana heals us with his love and we could have healed Jiva with the love Ramana gave us. I know the moderators could have pre-read his emails and it would have only taken a few minutes each day to do it. "Let he or she who is free from Sin cast the first stone" Not and exact quote and the other great one that Ramana practiced. "who so ever shall smite thy on thy right cheek....." So be it, it was fated that way and I accept the decision of the moderator with a heavy heart. I will sent this post to Jiva and see if he has any heart love in him. Thanks much Shengping for your great OSHO post. Love, Alton, who want to know he is the SELF ASAP
Guest guest
Dear one called Alton, but who, in reality is Nameless, These situations where someone acts in ways that seem distasteful can be an interesting opportunity for practice. I think this has been apparent recently in this newsgroup. Earlier in my life I would probably have tried to argue my point and perhaps gotten angry. Later I would have wanted to convince them of there error. Still later I might have merely offered the Truth. And later, I might have offered the loving response we saw here from Rob. As for now, I have heard Nome talk about "non-assertiveness," which I understand as NOT making the ego-assertions that are habits of most of us (and that has been my habit most of this life). So now what I want to do is rest in silence. One thing seen in the writing about Ramana is how he responded to attempts of discord—by his silence. Once the discord starts, does one need to `pick it up' at all? I want to stay in the Peace of the Self. Is it then wise to be drawn out of this peace when it is not needed? (And when is it ever needed, by the way?) My love to all in this sangha, joined by our love for what has been shown to us the Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi. Guest guest
Dear Alton , Ganesan once said to me - in conflict 'everyone is right and at the same time nobody is right " Food for pondering .Surely it is correct that as this is a site devoted to Self Realisation according to Ramana Maharshi that the common courtesies of politeness and "satvic language "should be followed by all members as a matter of principle , otherwise by beind rude and Rajistic we nullify the teaching .regards Alan --- Alton Slater <leenalton wrote:

Dear Richard, Suri, Viorica, Rob, Ravi et al.
Everyone is right.
"Ramana Love" is all you need.
Mahalo means thanks. Guest guest
dear Viorica , an interesting story .From what you say , I feel your friend [?]was not truly Satvic . Maybe she was hiding her disapproval behind a Satvic mask .The kind of Satvic state I am refering to ,is as my understanding of Ramana's teaching , reinforced in the Gita .By following Ramana's advice bof adhering to a Satvic diet of Vegeterianism with milk products we develop a satvic mind , which means equanimity .Was your friend[/] Vegeterian and a devotee of Ramana ? It would be interesting to know .
