See yourself in All(Story taken from Swami Ramadas collection)Once a man bought

a lot of little mirrors and fixed them upall around his room. He was very

egocentric and liked to lookat himself. He stood in the middle of the room and

sawhis reflections in all the mirrors and felt extremely pleased. Then he left

the room but forgot to close the door. A dog happenedto come into the room. It

too saw lots of reflections of dogs all aroundand started to bark and fight

with all the reflections. It fought till itgot completely exhausted and in

frustration left the room. This story illustrates that if we are able to see

ourselves in the peoplearound us - then life becomes very joyful;while if we

(like the dog) see others as different from us then all ourlives are spent

fighting for our little turf and finally we exit (die) infrustration.(taken

from another mailing list)

Dear Ramasamy , thank you for the valuable posting .For those that find it

difficult ,remember all

beings share the One Consciousness with which we ourselves are imbued - the

external form has

been modeled by the Self for the journey of that Jiva in this Dream of Samsara

..Regards ,In Him,

Alan
