You are to me Mother ,

Father , brother ,bosom friend,

Treasure , family ,darling of the Soul .

Now I need no other assurance .

I have placed on your head

All my burden of gaining and keeping .

 

You are the sum of action ,

Deeds of piety ,you are Deity.

In you seeds of austerity ,

Places of holy resort ,

Religious vows ,Teacher - in you ,

Everything is comprised .

 

So says Tuka ,

"Oh God who doest

And makest mankind to do ,

In you is fullness of faith ,

Devotion , worship

And waiting on Grace . .
