Guest guest
Dear All, A short thought about Benedictine spirituality. The main-rule of the Order of St. Benedict is "ora et labora": "Pray and work!" ora (pray) labora (work) If one looks at the word "labora" (work) "ora "(prayer) is contained in it. And so is the understanding in Benedictine spirituality. A parallel in Sri Ramanas teaching is found in Ganesan's Moments Remembered, where Ramana said at an occasion: "Doing the allotted work in time is itself meditation."
