Guest guest
Dear Poppa, > "The only useful, productive thing the mind can do is > disappear." -- From Godman's interviews You're right, that's a terrific interview. Thanks for making me reread it. Why are there so few comments about David's new website in the mail groups (not just this one)? It seems strange to me. I think the new site is the greatest source of information about Bhagavan on the Internet. I'll go further than that. For many people, it's the greatest source of information about Bhagavan that has been published in any form -- even more useful than Bhagavan's own writings, because many people tend to find Bhagavan's writings difficult to understand. It's as if David has been sent by God to prepare and disseminate an accurate portrayal of Bhagvan's teachings to the world, and nobody pays attention. Somewhere on the new site, David quotes somebody saying that: "The more accurately you explain Ramana Maharshi's teachings, the fewer people you will find are interested in them." I think this is probably true. In the words you quoted: > "The only useful, productive thing the mind can do is > disappear." That's precisely what makes Bhagavan's true teachings uninteresting to people. There's nothing to say about them. There's nothing there for the mind. It's not about that.
