Guest guest
Turn off the radio. Notice that you exist. Continuing to go deeper: You know your senses. To know your senses, you must be able to perceive them As an object of perception. For you to know your senses, you must be something deeper Than your senses. Who are you? Guest guest
Dear Michael, This is basic to discrimination; what is objective is known by someone. Who is it that knows? (Who am I?) As one practices discrimination, they start to see that what is objective (i.e. Known) goes beyond what is gross like the body and the senses, to what is increasingly subtle, like thoughts and the mind (and the "I"-thought). The discernment that is achived by this discrimination deepens the inquiry. The meditations that will follow are intended to help a seeker deepen their discrimination. So far in the book we have had a section on midfullness meditations, then a section on "what is within" meditations. The next and longest section will be on discrimination and inquiry. Thanks for your comments. Guest guest
Dear Karta, Thank you for the nice words. I am today starting to look at the specific publishers who are interested in such materials. Perhaps it will be published (if this is to be)? It was a pleasure to write this. I just want to support other seekers. And I thought supporting their actual practice was the best way. When I have posted it page-by-page I will probably post a pdf copy in the files section of this site. (If that is desired by the members of the newsgroup).
