Guest guest
One day Bhagavan had sat down for his lunch. Sankaramma came into the hall and told him, "I want your Upadesa Swami. Bhagavan citing Kaivalyam advised her, "If you enquire who you are, the idea that one is bound will be uprooted and your true identity will be revealed". This was a rare instance. Bhagavan would never offer particular advice to anyone. His instructions would be communicated in silence. If pressed he would simply say that self-enquiry is the only panacea. One word from him, one gesture of his, one look of his had greater potency than the most potent mantra and would lead one on unfailingly to Self-knowledge. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Santamma In: Unforgettable Years ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
