The only barrier

To ask the identity of the inner Guide is, surely, mere rhetoric. His identity

is uniquely known, always, as the closest of the close, the non-dual support of

mind and body, the sAkshi or silent witness of this, that, and everything,

shining, like the sun giving light universally to all. The only barrier to this

light is the ego which appears to cast the shadow of avidya. This confusion

arises when the shadow is seen but the essential light source which allows

production of shadow is missed.
