A few years back before I embarked on the practice, I was not 100 % ethical in my professional activities. Though I was not committing frauds, but the actions could not be termed ethical especially for a spiritual aspirant. I used to wonder when I observed people who could be 100% ethical. I sincerely prayed that I should become like that. But mere mental resolution does not bring change- after coming in to the fold of Ramana and after practice for some time certain changes came in me and without any regrets I could become very ethical. I personally believe that the change was only due to grace from Bhagavan. Not only this, my reaction to the behavior of other individuals which would normally bring intolerance and angry outbursts are now things of the past and I could tolerate the failings of my relatives and friends ( which in normal circumstances would make me very angry and I would think of snapping connections with them ). A significant turn was when I had a dream in whcih Sri Bhagavan appeared ( which I already shared on Sri Arunachala site ) A full stop for the list of desires ( I had many plans a few years back ) and a feeling that desire even for Realization should not be entertained. I was not clear about my 'after retirement' life a few years back- that is -what I should do- where I should settle etc. Though I am going to accept whatever that is in store for me, I intend to retreat to TiruvannamalaIi after retirement in a couple of years and spend the last phase there. I could make some arrangements there with the grace of Bhagavan. This decision was certainly due to the grace of Sri Bhagavan.
