Guest guest
Enquiring 'Who am I?' within the mind, and reaching the heart, the 'I' collapses. Instantely the real 'I' appears (as 'I' 'I'), which, although it manifests itself as 'I' is not the ego, but the true being. ~~~~~~~~~ S.S. Cohen ~~~~~~~~~ The ego falls, chrestfallen, when one enquires 'Who am I? and enters the Heart. Then another, 'I'-'I', throbs unceasingly, by itself, It is not the ego but the Self itsef, the whole. ~~~~~~~~~~~ A.R. Natarajan ~~~~~~~~~~~ In verse 30, Bhagavan explains what happens when the ego is merged in the Heart - simultaneously, an unceasing, blissful feeling of 'I' takes over. It is not the ego. The feeling being continuous is described as 'I'-'I'. It is the form of the Self, complete and self-luminous. "It is an incessant flash of 'I'-Consciousness, you can be aware of it, feel it, hear it, sense it, so to say; that is 'Aham spoorthi'". (Sat Darshanan Bhasya). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Comment by A.R.
