Guest guest
Dear Alamelu, thanks much for sharing - your posting is deeply touching. Best wishes for you and your husband. May Bhagavan bless you both! What better way to start the day than with self-inquiry! Surely someone here can give you some helpful advice and hint. How to do it "professionally" - LOL - I really don't have an idea about anymore. There was a time I thought I know - but this also has gone. So I must be silent now - LOL. The only thing what has become clear is that the quest stays open as long as He chooses to be so, as long as the Ego stays head up. There is no answer of any kind which could be given in any form from the Ego. Who am I??? An open quest - as big as the sky, as deep as the sea - not always easy to stand. Trust in that someone else can say something more helpful for you. Guest guest
Dear Alamelu, Ramana has always said enquire 24 hours a day. If the mind can stay on that enquiry mode coupling it with bhakti when the mind is unable to go into silence, rest Bhagavan will take care. Bhagavan is there as always. Bless you. affly Yamini --- gabriele_ebert <g.ebert wrote: > Dear Alamelu, > thanks much for sharing - your posting is deeply > touching. Best > wishes for you and your husband. Guest guest
Dear Alamelu, You love from Ramana will grace your life! You also show wisdom by your desire to practice. I have put two small books that I have written in the files section of this newsgroup. May I suggest that you download "Freeway Zen" and look at it and practice the meditations in this book. In this book I have put what I have learned in perhaps 13 years of inquiry, and 13 years of instuction by a living Sage in the USA. Starting the day with inquiry is good. I do this myself. I wake up at 5am to inquire. Inquiring throughout the day is even better. When you think of it, ask yourself, "Who am I?For whom is this?Who knows this?" and the like. They all turn your mind within. within is where you will find the jewel of your own Being. Keep commentsing in this newsgroup on your practice and asking questions. This is an internet satsang. We are all here to share our love for Ramana, and for the practice that he taught. We are not two, Richard RamanaMaharshi, alamelu venkatachalam <valameluv> wrote: > sir... > iam a young girl of age 24 ... > going to be married in another 10 days... > i love our bhagavan to the core of my being... > in this materialistic world there's no end to desires... > if one starts enjoying our bhagavan gradually his or her desires will be pulled down to null point..except for one ... that is the desire for our bhagavan ramana... > i love him to the core of my being... > my aim in my life is simply ramana... > iam doing self inquiry for the past 10 days... > daily i start the day with self inquiry just for 3 to 5 mins ... > i do not know how to do it professionally... > pls give me some advice... > and tell me how many mins can i do that every day... > for any small reasons of the daily happenings i get tensed and frightened... > can i win this through self inquiry? > Arunachala Ramanan Thunai > with love > alamelu > > > > > > Free online calendar with sync to Outlook.
