I bow to the Lotus-feet of Sage Sri Ramana, the

great Teacher, Who helped me to see the Supreme

Lord, self-effulgent, transcending nescience.

 

Of the Lord of Mercy living on the slopes of Arunachala,

the glory of whose unique life shines out and clears

away the dark miseries of human life which He vindicates

by His Realisation both of the truth expounded by Vishnu

(in His Avatar as Sri Krishna in Srimad Bhagavad Gita)

and of the recondite Symbol of Silence shown by

Siva (as Dakshinamurti to Sanaka and others).

Dear All,

will post daily one of the verses of the Forty in Praise of Sri Ramana

by Ganapati Muni. Alan suggested to start with a study group

of Supplement to the Forty - so this Forty here is the bhakti-addition

to the other Forty.
