--- Dear Sri S.V.SWAMY, thank you for your interesting Comment on verse 33.What

is interesting is

that unlike the 40 verses and the Upadesa Sarum ,which have many Commentaries

,there is only one

on the Supplement!This is by Dr.T.M.P.Mahadevan in his book Ramana Maharshi and

His Philosophy of

Existence .[There are however 4 different translations].

The Karma is for the body-mind-ego. So, for the Jnani, who doesn't identify

himself with the trio, there is no karma. What is probably meant is that

the present body-mind-ego set has its initial programme triggered and will

run its course. Like a ball dropped at the top of a stair-case, keeps

rolling down till it reaches the ground and will probably run for some more

distance before stopping. To the person who dropped the ball, dropping it

is the end. To the ball, it is not.

 

There is a typo. anchita should read as Sanchita. Thank you for the post.
