Guest guest
For men of little understanding wife, children, and others comprise the family. Know that for the learned there is a family made up of countless books in their mind which is an obstacle to yoga. What use is the learning of those who do not seek to wipe out the letters of destiny by enquiry "Whence is the birth of us who know this letters?" They have sunk to the level of a gramophone. What else are they, O Arunachala! ~~~~~~~~~~ by Osborne ~~~~~~~~~ For unlearned folk there is only one family consisting of wife, children and dependents. But in the mind of those with much learning are many families of books, theories and opinions as obstacle to yoga. What is the use of letters to those lettered folk who do not seek to wipe out the letters of Fate by inquiring, "Whence are we born?" What else are they but gramophones, O Lord of Arunachala? They learn and repeat words without realizing their meaning. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ by Saminathan ~~~~~~~~~~~~
