Guest guest
Who is there apart from the Self, if one only abides ever as the Self, without swerving from that primal State and never differentiating oneself from others? What does it matter if others say anything about oneself? What indeed does it matter if it is oneself alone that one praises or abuses? Retain at heart the sense of non-duality, but never express it in action. O my son, the sense of non-duality may apply to the three worlds, but know that in relation to the Master it will never do. ~~~~~~~~~ by Osborne ~~~~~~~~~ Without thinking of oneself as apart from others, without swerving from one's true state, if one abides always in one's Self, who is there alien to one? What matters it what people say of one? What matters it if one praises or blames oneself? Keep advaita within the heart. Do not ever carry it into action. Even if you apply it to all the three worlds, O Son, it is not to be applied to the Guru. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ by Swaminathan ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dear Members, please can anyone comment on Verse 39: Do not carry advaita into action and that it is not meant to be applied to the Guru. What does it mean? I don't understand this verse. In Sri Ramana Gabriele
