I will proclaim in truth the quintessence of the

established conclusions of the entire Vedanta.

It is that when the ego is destroyed it becomes That

and then the Self in the form of Absolute Consciousness

alone remains.

I shall declare truly the essence of the final doctrine

of the Vedanta: - when the ego dies and becomes

That, the Self of pure Awareness, That alone abides.

I will proclaim in truth the quintessence of Truth.

No matter what the proclamation, or through who the

proclaiming,....... in the very proclaiming, .....Truth is Lost.

There is no ego to be destroyed, for no ego was ever created.

Nothing can become the Self, for there is no not-Self to become the

Self.

There being nothing but the Self, .......even proclaiming that there

is nothing but the Self, ..........is a hilarity.

Sandeep,

I appreciate this expression of "non-creation."

In answer to the question, "How is illusion created?" Sages have said

since time immemorial that it was never created.

When one finds, through knowledge, that the snake was just a rope,

where did the snake go? Was the snake ever created?

We are not two,

Richard

All you needed, instead of pushing so many keys on the key board, is

to press just one key,....... the del key.

That is perfectly fine.

Your opinion noted.

Have fun.

--------

Absolutely.

The key question is......this illusion, ........to whom is the

illusion, .........an illusion?

That entity which concludes thus, .......is it apart from that

illusion?

And thus conclusions of an illusory hoopla,........can only be more

hoopla, is it not?

Now the sages were compassionate enough to give a break to the

seeker, ........by providing a life-line, a concept,...aka "it was

never created".

For the truth is that,....... to affirm that "it was never created",

is to posit a position separate from "it",

It's only then that an affirming is possible,...... either for it's

existence or for it's non-existence.

Since no such position is possible, or no such position is apart from

the illusion, ......is any affirmation or negation,.... anything more

than more hoopla?

-----------

------

Yes.

However, with the vanishing snake in the rope, as the primary

delusion, .....the apperception may happen, ....not

guaranteed,....but may occur,......that the subject cognizing the

rope, ........is itself a cognized object.

Forget the snake, .....even the rope does not exist without a

cognizer of it.

And vice versa.

As fundamental Science is discovering in the last decade or so.

("The Universe appears to be of the nature of a thought"-Nobel Prize

winner-physcist- Bohm)

Apperception, while as much a conceptual term as any other term,.. is

not a perception.

Apperception is the perceiving, without a "perceiver", thereof.

As,...there is writing, but no author thereof.

Richard, who observes, "we are not two"?

Thus, is not the concept of non-duality (Advaita), only relevant in

the gestalt of duality?

.........arises only in the gestalt of duality?

I am that I am, i.e. all that there IS,......

...."not-two", .....does it have any meaning for I?

Apperception of Advaita, ......

......is the end of the relavance of Advaita,......... is it not?

Some two cents........
