Guest guest
---Dear Hur,I had the same experience too -very strange-like being in the Cinemaya and suddenly saying after a period of identification 'it's only a film'.In some ways I find the Cinema analogy more powerful than the dream analogy - but it is a matter of preference . Here goes: God produces the film ,directs the film , writes the script and music, creates the scenarios ,acts all the parts ,projects the film and enjoys the show .The Self is the light in the projector, the brain and senses create the projection in glorious technicolour ,3D with feelie and smell effects .All is on the silver screen of Consciousness and the film is already in the can . Seeing this it is absurd to complain about the part which God has decided to cast {Alan or Hur]in this 'Great Box Office 6 Thousand Million Extravaganza' as it is for Bogart, to say in the middle of Casablanca "I don't like what's going on here Harry, never play that tune again" Love in Him , Alan > > All this reminds me of a saying by Wei Wu Wei that all this > discussion abour > > enlightenment etc. is like pyjama clad characters in one's night- > dream discussing exactly how > > they propose to wake up next morning .Regards Alan > > > how true. talking about dreams: once i had a dream in which i kept > waking up in the dream. each time i was so sure i was awake, till i > woke up again. i'm not telling this story to make a point or > anything like that...it was just a dream. > > > > > > > Post message: RamanaMaharshi > Subscribe: RamanaMaharshi- > Un: RamanaMaharshi > List owner: RamanaMaharshi-owner > > Shortcut URL to this page: > http://www./community/RamanaMaharshi > > Your use of is subject to > > ______________________ Want to chat instantly with your online friends?
