Guest guest
Sri Krishnaya Namah! My ignorant mind thinks that there is no difference between a guru and God. We can deduce and vet this concept if we recall that the term 'Guru' should be attributed to Lord Srimannarayana. He is the Guru of all Gurus. This was illustrated in SMB where Brahma, after his birth in a lotus went in search of the creator in the duct of the flower itself and could reach nowhere, as it is anantha (We fondly call Him as Ananthapadmanabha). Realising his inability, Brahma does penance for about 10,000 years. Then the Lord appears before him and teaches niceties and nuances of creation, cause and his duty etc., This was the noble deed by the Parabrahman and His krupa that saw Brahma going about the creation, effortlessly. No deed in this world is as difficult as creation of this universe/charaachara shrusti.. No preaching is comparable to the preachings that Lord has given to Brahma. After the creation of this universe and chara & achara shrusti, once again Lord, seeing the misery and agnanam around, came down as Sage Kapila, who have given us sankya yoga (SMB Vth Skanda eloquently details out on this). Further, since this Sankya Yoga is levelled at gyanis, He once again came down as Sage Vyasa, who effortlessly bifurcated the vedas into four part. Vedas engulfs the entire universe and is he the reason behind every activity. Vedas are the foudation for this universe. Thus, Brahma calls him 'Veda Vyasa'. It is said that, Sri Veda Vyasa promised that He will be present within all the gurus/teaches/sadhus/sanths in this world and spread knowledge around the globe. Needless to say, He gave us the noble and sacred BG thru Lord Krishna, which is the essence of vedas and which has universal appeal just like vedas. He is Yogeshwara and Jagadguru. It is His krupa that I am in this group, in which Veda Vyasa is spreading bhakthi and gyana through several gyanis for thwarting my agyana. My humble pranams, on this auspicious occasion, to all the divine souls in this forum, specifically, Sri Sadagopan Iyengar, for opening my inner eyes through articles which are divine. Sukumar Sri Veda Vyasaya Nama Hari Om!
