Guest guest
Sri Krishnaya Namah! Dear Bhagavathas, I have doubts with respect to the following which is the extract of the Narayanopanishat. I used to recite the same but without the clarity and meaning, the pleasure of recitation is partial, hence I would like to know the meaning of these: 'Omithyagre Vyahareth Nama ithi pashchath Narayanethyuparishtath Omithye kaksharam Nama ithi dve akshare Narayanayethi panchaksharaani Yethadvai narayanasyashtaksharam padam Yo havai narayanasyashtaksharam padamadhyethi anapabhruva sarva mayurethi vindathe prajapathyagam rayasposhangau pathyam thathomruthathva mashnuthe... thatho..... mashnutha ithi ye thath samaveda shiroyodheethe. While the extracts out of Rik, yajur and atharvana veda is understandable, the above is little bit confusing and hence, I would be highly obliged if someone could describe this. Thanks Sukumar Sri Krishnaparabrahmane Namah!
Guest guest
Dear SrI Sukumar: You should acquire Dr.N.S.Ananatharangchar Swamy's excellent monograph on MahA NaarAyaNa Upanishad to get a clear understanding of the many passages of this important Upanishad. I have copied StriMan Narasimhan , who can help you acquire it in India.
