Dear friends,

Due to a keyboard error, the above passage in the

original posting did not carry a key line. The above

passage should read actually as follows:

"The 'manushya' with no 'dayA' in his heart is an

'asurA' worse than Hiranyakasipu; and the 'manushya'

who has mastered the senses, that Man of 'dama, is

verily a 'dEva' greater than 'agni'. And as for the

man who gives ... the 'manushya' who gives 'datta'

even when he is himself in dire need as Sudama was...

well, what can be said of such a 'manushya' except

that he is a miracle of God?"

Sorry for the error.

Those of you in list who wish to discuss

the "da, da, da" story or otherwise comment on it may

do so by sending their mail to me on T'vengadam. Or

else on Satsangham.

Thanks and regards,

dAsan,

Sudarshan

Dear sir

Interesting analysis of the 3 categories .

But I have a doubt like this. Suppose a person ( manusha) is

compassionate but not having sense control and like wise having sense

control but not compassionate or possess both but not "dana"( does not

give). what happens ?

thank you

VKV
