He needs to have access to his erlier postings.

It is possible that Smt.Sumitra Varadan of

AchArya hridhyam 59

AchArya hridhayam sUthram 121 continued:

The fact that Azhwar s feminine approach- peN pEachu- is natural to

the soul is being explained:

Janma bhUmiya vittaganRu: The soul leaves its world of birth to

the abode of the Lord.

How can this world be termed as place of birth? As the soul gets the

knowledge of ‘thiru mandhiram’ through the AchAryan, this can be

termed as the place of birth –janma bhUmi. Thirumazhisaip pirAn aptly

puts this as follows:” anRu nAn pirandhilEan”.

Hence, the soul leaves this world for eternal abode which is akin to

the daugher leaving her house for in-laws place.

SUzh visumbiRpadiyE: The soul follows the path as described in the

thiru voi mozhi –“sUzh visumbu aNi mugil” =-archirAdhi mArgam. It is

being welcomed by one and all therein. Follows the Lord and at the

time of entering His palace gets itself into ablutions-virajA nadhi.

‘viyan thuzhAi’ ‘ anjanathin nEru’ ‘nAnap podi’ pEthaga Adai’ ‘pal

kalan koNdu’: On getting the sacred bath, the soul is adorned as

follows;

‘viyan thuzhAi’: ‘viyan thuzhAi kaRpenRu sUdum’;

‘ArAr vErkaN anjanathin nEru aNindhu’ ‘mei thimirum nAnap podi’

‘vuduthu kaLaindha nin pEdhaga Adai vuduthu” ‘pal kalanum yAm aNIvOm’

These are being adorned like garlands, anjanam, podi, pudavai and

other such ornaments Thus the soul is adorned with brahma alankAram.

“divine adornments’.

PallAndu isaithuk kavari seiyya:

As mentioned in thiru voi mozhi “thokkup pallAndu isaithuk kavari

seivar yEzharE’, the soul is being not only welcomed but is done all

the service-kainkaryam like ‘sAmaram’ ‘niRai kudai vilakkam’ i.e.

‘nidhiyum naR chunnamum , niRai kuda vilakkamum’ are being held for

the soul by sacred women;

Vaikundham pukkirundhu: With such path leading to ablutions,

adornments, service , welcomes, the soul enters the abode of the

Lord. Cherishes His togetherness.. Relsihes the togetherness not only

with Him but with the devotees over there ‘nithya-mukthargaL’

–adiyArgaL. Experiences the Lord’s qualities like the nithya sUrigaL.

KOppudaiya kattukkAl midhithu yEAri: The soul steps on the divine cot

, the majestic cot on which the supreme Lord rests, and who seeks to

embrace the soul;

Kuru mA maNiyAiyum vasthuvukku:

Similar to the kousthupa mani, the soul also adorns the divine chest of the Lord.

Thus, for the soul, this accent namely ‘maNivallip pEachu’ is natural

and not artificial.

Conclusion: How come, this indicates that this ‘peN pEachu” the accent

of woman is natural to the soul is being discussed here. The

aforementioned elaboration is to make a simile to the soul to a woman

being nurtured and ultimately entering her Lord’s house and the Lord,

which is but natural for a woman. Akin to that, the soul’s accent is

also so,, naturally like a feminine.
