In this sUthram, it is being sought to be explained that the AzhwAr is having common characterisitics with that of pirAtti. What are the characteristics of the soul which make it similar to that of pirAtti’s? These are six ananyArha shEshathvam ananya charaNathvam ananya bhOgyathvam samshlEshathil tharikai vishlEshathil thariyAmai thadhEga nirvAhyathvam. AnanyArha shEshathvam: subservient only to Him. Ananya charaNathvam: surrender only to HIM. Ananya bhOgyathvam: be sweet only to Him. SamshlEshathil tharikkai: surviving when being with Him. VishlEshathil thariyAmai: suffering the pangs of separation when away from Him.
