Guest guest
Thirup pAn AzhwAr 's experience. amalan Adhip pirAn pAsuram 7 " kaiinAl suri sangu anal Azhiyar..." Here thirup pAn AzhwAr observes that sudharshana AzhwAr -sakkaram and pAnchajanyam-sangu- on thiruvarangap perumAL's thirumEani. AnandhAzhwAn asks bhattar whether the Lord was with two hands or four hands. It can be both was the reply. which is the beauty. If it is two hands it is with periya perumAL. If it is with four hands-chadhur bhujam it is with nam perumAL. Unlike us great souls who have seen proplerly indeed can see periya perumAL with four hands. The text runs as follows:" nammaip pOl anRikkEa, theLIyak kaNdavargaL periya perumALaiyum chadhurbhujamAiyanRO anvaiyippadhu". It is pertinent to note the words in swAmi desikan's munivAhana bhOgam " dhivyAyduhAzhwargaL, periya perumALudaiya thiruk kaigaLil rEagaiyil vodhungik kidandhu, perumAL thirumEaniyilEA thOnRi niRpArgaL. Thus blessed one like thirup pAn AzhwAr can see the Lord properly which we cannot indeed see. vanamamalai padmanabhan
