Guest guest
Dear sri vaishNava perunthagaiyeer, In continuation of the write up on 'ariyadhavan', here, I would like to add sriman J.Swaminathan MA vaishNavam writes in purattaasi issue of sree ranganaatha paadhukaa, about same proverb. There he mentions same 'hari yaadhavan vaayila maNNu' explanation as given by sri villur karunaakaraachaarya swamy. The editor of the magazine also adds his notes to this. Please read that article also. As stated therein aRi - ari - periya ra chinna ra - it is all vazhakkuth thamizh - colloquial language. So which ra is correct which is not correct can not be argued in favour or against. Dhasan Vasudevan m.g
