Almost all azhwars have sung about his mAyam. Swamy Nammazhwar "ariyA kalathuLe adimai kaN anbu seivithu, ariyA mAmAyathul adiyEnai vaithAyal" and praises that his mAyam is such that without even the azhwAr knowing, Lord has entered his mind, just like in vAmanA avathAram, where even without the realisation of mahAbali, the Lord measured all the worlds. But, AndAL here praises the mAyam, Lord did to nithya sUrIs. She uses the nAmA before Lord reached madura (mannu vada madura maindhan). In nitya mandalam "tad vishnOhO paramam padagum sadhA pashyanti sUrayaha" nitya surIs always have darshan without any interruption. Though there is no time factor in nithya mandalam, the Lord came to madura during dUpa aradhanai when smokes emanated and his avatAram was a flick of eyes for them. AndAl uses the namam mA mAyan in later pasuram as how he entered back into nithya mandalam after the completion of his avataram. We shall see when that pasuram comes. The next nAmA 13 appears in pasuram 5 - "vada madura maindhan", sowseelyam of the Lord.
