1. Both the first word of this pAsuram and the padhigam "kangulum

pagalum" 7-2-1 commence with the same term.

2. The substance of the padhigam "kangulum, pagalum :

parAnkusa nAyaki becomes very desperate and becomes very frail on emperumAn giving her a go by.

thAyar- AzhwAr's mother- takes her to thiru arangam and appeals to the

Lord and asks Him what is His intention?

"ivaL thiRathu en seiginRayEA" 7-2-1 "ivaL thiRathu en seidhittAyE"

7-2-3;"ivaL thirathu en sindhithAyE" 7-2-4

and so on and so forth. Refer AchArya Hrdhaym "kOil vAsalilE muRai ketta kELvi Akki"

 

This is aptly summarised here in this pAsuram as -arangaraip pArthu,

ingivaL pAl ensei nEr eNNuginRadhu"

What is in Your mind with regard to AzhwAr is the question to the Lord.

 

3. The final word is "veLLai"which is also the first term of the "veLLai churisangu" 7-3-1.

 

4. mAran anjoluRa nenju veLLAiyAm is the reverence to the AzhwAr.
