Guest guest
thiru voi mozhi nURrandhAdhi "nedumAl azhagu thanil, nEL guNathil, Edu padumA nilai vudai baktharkku; adimaithanil ellai nilamthAnAga eNNinAn mARAn; adhu kollainilamAna nilai koNdu' 80 1. Both this pAsuram and "nedumARkadimai" 8-10 of thiru voi mozhi commence with the terms 'nedumAl' 2. This pAsuram is representative of the thiruvoi mozhip pAsuram "nedumArkadimai seivEan pOle" where the subservience to the Lord extends and transforms into subservience to the devotees of the Lord who are submerged in His grace and attributes. This is precisely summarised in the words of that padhigam "saymE adimaith thalai ninRAr thiruthAL vaNangi' 8-10-2 and further "kOdhil adiyAr thm, thamargaL thamargaL thamargaLAm" 8-10-9 and finally culminating into " nEkkamillA adiyAr tham, adiyAr adiyAr adiyAr engOkkaL.." 8-10-10, thus enunciating that the devoteesof the devotees of the devotees of the Lord are my Sirs. I am subservient to them. This pAsuram brings this aspect to the forefront "...baktharku , adimaithanil ellai nilamthAnAga eNNinAn mARan, adhu kolli nilam..: swAmi nam AzhwAr considers himself as the last in the line of devotees lineage and is subservient to one and all of them. 3. Both the pAsuram and thiru voi mozhi 8-10-11 has the "koNdu' as the final say which is the first term of the next pAsuram. 4. 'ellai nilamAga eNNinAn mARan' is the tribute to nam AzhwAr vanamamalai padmanabhan
