Does it not show his greatness? A few glimpses into his commentary: A pAsuram in sixth ten: " pEdudai nAn muganai padaithAnukku, mAdu mannaRku dhUthu sel nambikku....." 6-6-4 When describing the Lord AzhwAr mentions as - The Lord who has created the majestic brahmA, The Lord who went as a messenger for those who possess the country. The commentator could well have commented on these lines and proceded. swAmi nam-piLLai meticulously explains 1. Why " pEdu" is prefixed to nAn muganai? chadurtha bhuvanangaLaiyum padaikka srustikka valla chadhur mugan-Edu The power to create the four worlds is the "pEdu" -majestic-for brahmA. 2. "nAdudai mannaRku" - The Lord went as an ambassador for those who possess the kingdom. Actually, they did not have the kingdom. dhuryOdhanA is in possession of the kingdom. Then why come AzhwAr mentions as 'nAdudai mannaRku" ?. Edu: "bhagwadh apiprAyathAlE avargaLai nAdudai mannar engiRAr kANum" Though, the pANdavAs do not possess anything, as per the Lord' esteemed opinion, they possess the kingdom. Hence, the prefix 'nAdudai" (to be continued) vanamamalai padmanabhan
