Sri PBA Swami's Sarartha Deepikai: The meaning of vraja is explained as 'focus your intellect'. The root is "vraja gatau', and therefore the meaning for vraja becomes going and from "gatyarttha buddhyarttha' rule, it gets the meaning "do for sure'. That is, 'mAm ekam sharaNam vraja' means 'take it in your mind that I only am the means'.
