imaiyOr athipathi, adiyEan mananE,

poi, mayaRvu, piRandhu aruLinan, viNNappam thozhudezhu, enRa

panchagathOdE, avidhyAdhi swarUpa swabhAVa, AthmEswara bhandha,

rakshaNa krama, guna vigraha vibhUdhiyAga, thathEyAbimAna, upadhEsa

vishaya, anyApadhEsa hEthvAdhigaLum, sangraham"

 

The first pAsuram of the first prabhandham of AzhwAr -thiru virutham-

and the first pAsuram of final prabhandham -thiru voi mozhi - are

taken up for discussion by swAmi azhagia maNavALap perumAL nAyanAr.

The important meanings expressed in these pAsuram-s are analysed.

 

The words of thiru virutham are italicised while those of thiru voi

mozhi are underlined- in the abovegiven text-for the sake of easy

identification.

 

As in the case of thirumandhiram, where the praNavam--Om- is the

nutshell, the first pAsuram-s of these two prabhandham-s are

nutshell. This aspect is taken up for discussion.
