Guest guest
ACHARYA HRDHAYAM -sUthram 212. Contd. As mentioned earlier, sUthram 210 toes the line of second sriyappadhippadi correlating thiru voi mozhi with dhvyam. The first sriyappadhippadi inter-alia speaks of artha-panchagam being the prime focus of thiru voi mozhi. This is explained in detail in sUthram 211. The third sriyappadhippadip padi mentions that the first pAsuram of thiru-voi-mozhi is the nutshell of the whole thiru voi mozhi. This is elaborated in this sUthram by comparing this with the first pAsuram of thiru-virutham vis-a-vis artha-panchagam. This was seen in posting 109. Certain further points are also explained in this analysis. avidhyAdhi swarUpam: It was seen earlier, that poi-ninRa gnAnam refers to the nature of obstacles. How is this? The lack of knowledge leads to wrong perceptions like thinking that body and soul is one and the same resulting in endless births and deaths. These further leads to accumulation of further cause effects of action culminating into pApam and puNNiyam again accentuating the births and death cycle. Hence, the words"ini yAm vuRAmai" How then, can this cycle be avoided in future? By His blessings. This is stated by " mayaRvu aRa mathi nalam aruLinan" The nature of illiteracy and the effects and the way to remove them is given hereinabove. Atham-Eswara bhandham: The relationship between the Lord and the soul is highlighted. Thiru-virutham: "imaiyOr thalaivA-----> adiyEAn" Thiru-voi-mozhi: "athipathi-thozhudhezhu" . Thus, the relationship between the Lord and the soul is that of shEsha shEshi is underlined here.
