The thiru-virutham and thiru-voi-mozhi first pAsuram-s contain in

them the following points also:

Lord Himself takes up the task of incarnations and protects the

devotees.

thiru-voi-mozhi: ' mayaRvu aRa mathi nalam aruLinan' ----> The Lord

out of His mercy grants immense knowledge which drives out the

ignorance-illiteracy and also bequeaths the requisite grasp of

education for attaining knowledge -gnAnam- and love and affection

towards the Lord -bhakthi.

guna vigraha vibhUdhi yOgam:

thiru-virutham- 'imaiyOr thalaivA' referring to the Lord's

supremacy over the World is highlighted.

'imayOr' alludes to Lord's attachment towards

nithya-sUrigaL.

thiru-voi-mozhi: 'vuyarvaRa vuyar nalam' straightaway pointing at

His endless auspicious qualities.
