Actually , Yennappan VaradarAjan has some messages for me

on the eve of starting the write ups on the Tamil Prabhandham of

Meyviratha Maanmiyam , the Dhivya Prabahndham of Swamy

Desikan . It has been dormant in my head for a while .

The thought was to create a special web page for

saluting the Vaibhavam and UpakAram of Lord VaradarAhan .

It is clear that sankalpam needs to be executed now.

 

As the beneficiary of having a Father named after Kaanchi PerumAL ,

I have been convinced that the Praayascchittham for dropping

the MangaLAsAsanam of the two Paasurams by BhUtham is

to create a special web site to salute the glories of

Lord VaradarAjan as enjoyed by the AzhwArs and AchAryAs

and include their the links of Kaanchi to our AchArya Paramparai

with special emphasis on Swamy Desikan .

 

Traditionally , BhUtham and Pey Azhwars are included

among the 12 AzhwArs that performed MangaLAsAsanam

for Atthigiri AruLALa PerumaL .

 

As the devout BhakthAs of Kanchi PerumAL know ,

the MangaLAsAsanam of Hasthi GirIsan extends to

Swamy NammAzhwAr ( ThiruvAimozhi: 1.4.6 , the entire

first Sathakam of ThiruvAimozhi according to

Swamy Desikan ), Thirumangai Mannan (Mention of

PeraruLALan's ThirunAmam in five pAsurams of

Periya Thirumozhi: 1.4.4 , 1.9.3, 4.3.1 , 9.5.4

and 9.5.10).

 

Thirumazhisai AzhwAr's Thirucchandha viruttham

Paasuram 73. In his Naanmukan ThiruvanthAdhi ,

Thirumazhisai appeals to the Varam Tarum VaradarAjan

for specific boons ( Paasuram 69 , 96, 101 ).

in ramanusa nootrandhaadhi varadhar koil is referred

as,

then athiyoorar kazhalinaikeezh poonda anbaalan'

 

all the periavaal, adiyaen has seen in kanchi, in

sampradhaayam accepts boothathazhwaar pasuram is for

varadhar koil. as adiyaen is from kanchi and from

varadhan thiruvadi, adiyaen is shocked to see the list

of boothathazhwaars mangalasasanam in which varadhar

koil is not added. adiyaen kindly requests the website

builders to take into consideration the above and do

the needful.
