The Lord is both. There is no point in just being great He should be sweet. The Lord is both. There is no point in just being sweet He should be simple. The Lord is both. The Lord automatically on being approached vanquishes the sins and also grants the ungettable achievements. Hence, follow His prescriptions. He has prescribed the means in the srimad bhagwadh gEthA. Display bhakthi towards Him. Selfless bhakthi. Bhkathi without expecting anything in return is the counsel by Azhwar. This is likened to the Lord blessing AzhwAr -AzhwAr blessing fellow souls in the first ten. The relevant pAsuram-s highlighting these aspects are. i. eLimayum inimayum vuNdu.-------> "pathudai adiyavarku eLiyavan" 1-3-1----> Being easily accessible to devotees-->saulabhyam. ii. thozhudhAl arumpayanAi tharum--->"tharum avarum payanAya" 1-6-9;----> He grants unparallel ends. iii.vudhyOgathE vinaigaLum mALum-----> "nAlum ninRadum nama pazhamai ang kodu vinai vudanE mALum"---> The accumulated kArmic effects which torture us are nullified. (to be continued) vanamamalai padmanabhan.
