Text: " I. sOrAdha mUvA vEr mudhalAi vithAi vulagam padaithavan engiRa chith achith thraya thri-vidhamAna kAraNam Anavan; II. aRiyAdhana aRivikka, III. vuLLam thEARith IV. thUmanam V. maruLil VI. ennum gnAna palamAna oLik koNdA mOksham thEadi VII. vAda...." Summary:The Lord who is the three type of causes- thri-vidha kAranan - nimitham, upAdhAnam and sahakAri of the three worlds-achith and also the cause for bhaktha, nithya and mukthAs, imparted immense knowledge to AzhwAr. AzhwAr as a sequence to this desired to reach His abode and be with the nithya-sUri ghOshti but the desire did not get fulfilled and yearned for this-vAda. The relevant pAsuram-s are: I. sOrAdha epporutkum AdhiyAm sOdhi-thiru voi-mozhi 2-1-11; mUvAth thani mudhalAi---> thiru voi mozhi 2-8-5; epporuktum vEar mudhal Ai vithAi--> thiru voi mozhi 2-8-10; poruL enRu iv vulagam padaithavan pugazh mEal ---> thiru voi mozhi 2-10-11; The Lord is all the three causes of the three chiths-bhakthar mukthar and nithyar; He is the three type of achiths viz:prAkrudham, aprAkrudham and kAlam. The three type of cause are main cause -upAdhAnam ; sahakArika kAraNam - anciliary cause; nimitha kAraNam- the cause of the cause or the sankalpam of the Lord in creation.For anything the three causes are different. But, the Lord decides to create the world -nimitha kAraNan; He becomes a part of them through His omni-presence- hence, upAdhAnam and He also is a part of creation process and hecne,sahakArika kAraNam. Thus the prime quality in this ten being all causes of all is explained. II. aRiyAdhana arivitha athA=--> thiru voi mozhi 2-3-2;----> The great knowledge imparted by the Lord to Azhwar is brought about. III. adiyai adaindhu vuLLam thEARi --->thiru voi mozhi -2-6-8;-->The resultant effect of such knowledge is mentioned here. AzhwAr gets a clear mind and gets to know what is what. IV. thUmanathananAi piRavith thuzhadhi nEnga----> thiru voi mozhi 2-7-8--> The lack of knowledge and the disadvantages attached with the births are removed. V maruLil vaN kurughUr vaN satakOpan--thiru voi mozhi 2-10-11---> The lack of knowledge and the related demerits completely being warded of Azhwar.. VI. kaLippum kavarvum aRRu piRappup piNi mUppiRappaRRu-oLikkOnda sOdhiyamAi -adiyArgaL kuzhAngaLai vudan kUduvadhu enRu kolO.."2-3-10.---> AzhwAr on realising and being on the verge of release from births yearns for the togetherness with the nithya sUrigaL in the bright parama-padham.
