For those of you who have not heard Sri Parasara Badri Bhattar before,

here is a brief introduction to

badrinArAyaNa parAsara bhattar svAmi comes fromthe great lineage of

svAmi koorattAzhvAn and svAmiparAsara bhattar. svAmi koorattAzhvAn

and svAmiparAsara bhattar are known to everyone, and

theirimmeasurable contributions to the rAmAnuja sampradAyamis very

well known.srI badrinArAyaNa bhattar continues the service to

therAmAnuja sampradAyam as one of the current descendantsof svAmi

koorattAzhvAn. He has undergone kAlakshEpamfor many years (and is

continuing to undergokAlakshEpam in advanced topics) from great

scholars insrIrangam (such as vaikuNTavAsi "kOrukoNda"

parAsarabhattar, srIrangam srIbhAshya vidwAn srInarasimhAchAriAr, srI

vELukkudi krishNan svAmi). Evenat a young age, he has been running a

pATasAla

"bhattar kuzhAm" insrIrangam, where he teaches nAlAyira

divyaprabhandham, stOtras and rahasyAs to more than 50students every

day. These students range from youngchildren to retired people. svami

also runs a library "gnAna pirAn" which housesthe treasures our

sampradaya in the form of books. srI badri nArAyaNabhattar's

upanyAsams are of the utmost brilliance andsimplicity. His renditions

of svAmi parAsara bhattar'sthirumanjana kattiyams are said to be very

wonderfulby learned scholars. In fact, recently an elder of

thesampradAyam said "If one was wondering how thechild-genius svAmi

parAsara bhattar would have lookedlike in his years, one need to look

no further thansrI badri svAmi!".In spite of his extremely busy

schedule on vaikuNTaEkAdasi dAy, svAmi has agreed to spend an hour

and ahalf with us in sharing the anubhavam of Sri Vaikunda Ekadasi.We

urge everyone to attend this upanyAsam and immerse themselves

in the nectarofbhavad guNa anubhaavam and bhAgavatha guNa
