Earlier I wrote briefly about a new CD ROM about Swamy Desikan for the benefit of

SrI VaishNavite Children and young adults.

 

This is in the form of power point format presentation and has 146 individual panels

consisting of Text and Images that depict the life and unique contributions of one of

the greatest SrI VaishNavite AchAryans , Swamy NigamAntha MahA Desikan .

Recognizing the wisdom behind these important words in the context of educational

releases , adiyEn has ben working with talented multimedia specialists in USA , Singapore

and in India for developing authentic material for introucung the glories of our sampradhAyam

to the younger generation and aasthikAs , who did not have the oportunity yet to know

about their rich VaishNavite heritage and their kula dhanams .

 

Latest in the series is the release named " Chithra Desikeeyam ".

 

The author of this brilliant and informative CD ROM is SrIman Lakshmi Narasimhan Sridhar

of Bangalore( srihi (AT) vsnl (DOT) com) . His enormous talents in creating multimedia CD ROMs

became evident in his earlier CD ROMs on Doddamallur and Sathyagalam Temples in Karnataka ;

Now in this new CD ROM on Swamy Desikan devoted to reach out to the Children ,

SrI Sridhar has excelled .

 

His choice of words is simple and he writes free of VaishNavite jargon ( paribhAshai).

The story line is cogent and informative to gain an understanding of the towering achievements

of Swamy VedAntha Desikan by one and all . The colors chosen are aesthetically pleasing

to the eye and mind. The fonts used are clear and bright . It is in short tastefully put together.

The authenticity of the incidents from Swamy Desikan's life as a Sarva Tantra Svatantrar

is vouchsafed.

 

Through tasteful blending of texts relating to the events in the life of Swamy Desikan

with beautiful chithrams from the temple of Swamy Desikan at His avathara sthalam of

Thuppul , SrI Sridhar has created a trend-setting Educational CD ROM

for the members of

the younger geenrations . It is my hope and prayer that SrI Sridhar will use his abundant

talent in multimedia technology and digital image handling as well as computer graphics to

bring out additional series on the life and Vaibhavam of our revered AchAryAs and EmperumAns

of many dhivya dEsams.

 

I am very delighted to learn that SrI Sridhar is currently working on another CD ROM devoted to

the avathAra Sthalam of Swamy Desikan ( Thuppul agrahAram ) and Kaanchipuram. We wish him

grand success in creation of this new and important CD ROM for the aasthikA community.
