Guest guest
Dear SrEvaishNavites, It is true that there is a legal copyright violation when cds are copied. However, We are talking of AzhwAr's day in and day out quoting left, right and centre from AzhwAr's pAsuram-s,. Books are pirnted and published on the text of AzhwAr-s. The vyAkyanam-s are printed and published. These are then used for education, lectures and recitation. Apart from being used for self satisfaction and service to the Lord these also have become money spinning machines. Is it not? Are we getting permission fromAzhwAr for using their works as a prime tool of revenue generation? Are we seeking the approval of Great AchAryAs for liberally quoting from their material for amassing wealth. Though copying cds are legal violation, when compared to the violations mentioned above, this is but only a miniscule aberration. I hasten to add that I am not alluding to anybody but just pointing out to the fact that we are =including adhyapakAs, upanyAsakAs, publishers,pirnters,-- are all a famed lot only because of AzhwAr and AchAryAs. and I dont think anybiody has thought of this violation of copyright . This is my humble opinion. rAmAnuja dhAsan' vanamamalai padmanabhan
