"dhEvimAr paNiyAr nEarpatta nalla kOtpAdennum padi sakthiyAlEa nithyamAgak kalpitha pathnE parijanAdhigaLaiyudaiya sathyakAman koNda vAkvruthiyayum maRapikkum kalakkamum, sangaiyum, achamum thERa" The Almighty is : i. The Lord of all the pirAtti-s. ii. The Lord who is subject of service and the knowledge of the nithya sUri-s iii. The governing factor of the three worlds. The Lord who posseses the aformentioned power -shakthi -thus has the permanent company of consorts, the nithya sUrigaL, all the worlds, things generating happiness, etc. - which is termed as -'sathya kAman'.This is the quality emphaised in this ten. AzhwAr who just in the final phase of the seventh ten - submitted thiru voi mohzi at the divine feet of the Lord of thiru vARan viLai- for having been made the fortunate soul through whom the thiru voi mohzi was brought out by the Almighty, became agitated and afraid. This fear psychosis which overtook this happiness mentioned at thiru-vARan viLai- was removed by the Lord Himself. The doubts and the fear thus was allayed by the Lord Himself. pAsuram-s: "dhEvi mAr AvAr thiru magaL, bhUmi yEAva maRRamar At seivaR"---> 8-1--> The Almighty is the Lord of all the three consorts.The Lord is the subject of service by the nithya -sUrigaL. "paNIyA amarar paNivum,paNbum thAnEyAm" ---> 8-3-6--> the Lord is The subject of service and knowledge of nithya sUrigaL. "nEar patta niRai mUvulagakkum nAyakan"--> 8-9-11-->The Lord is the supreme of all the worlds. "nalla kOtpAttulagangaL mUnRinuLLum thAn niRaindha"--> 8-10-11--> The Lord Almighty is the pervading force in the worlds and possesses all the things generating permanent happiness. "kANumARu aruLai enRenREA kalangi"--> 8-1-2---> AzhwAr yearning for the Lord's vision and experience. "vumar vugandhu vugandha vuruvam nin vuruvamAgi vun thanakku anbar AnAr, avar vugandhu amarndha seigai, vun mAyai aRivu onRum sangiRpan vinayEan" --> 8-1-4--> The Lord's great flexibility's towards His devotees is being doubted here. "iRandhadhum nEya, edhirndhadhum nEyEA, nigazhvadhO! nE innEA AnAl, adhu, idhu, vudhu ennum, aRivonRum sangiRpan vinaiyEan"8-1-7 The Lord is the all pervasive entity. This is being doubted. "nanRum nAn anjuvn,naragam nAn adaidhal" 8-1-9 AzhwAr's fear on thinking of this world all these doubts and fears are expressed in the first thiru -voi-mozhi of the eighth ten by AzhwAr.
